Pure Fitness
Owner/Master Trainer
I began my journey into fitness in 2004 shortly after graduating high school where I received a National Certificate as a Personal Trainer. I started training clients at a local YMCA and developed a deep passion for helping others improve their overall health. In my early years as a Personal Trainer, I studied Kinesiology and found that I have a natural understanding of the human body and knew I was being called to make a career of it! In 2007, I decided to become an independent trainer, expanding my client demographic as well as continuing my education. In 2010 I launched the first 24-hour Key access gym in Pleasant Hill, previously known as Step It Up Gym, which served the Pleasant Hill community for 10 years.
In 2019 I officially reached 20,000 training sessions and can confidently say that I am now a seasoned trainer. After Covid-19 hit in March of 2020, I made some changes to my business model to focus solely on Personal Training changing the business name to “Pure Fitness”. At Pure, I believe in providing the highest level of personal training at a fair market price. I take pride in having a well maintained and clean facility along with a comfortable environment for all clients regardless of fitness background and demographic. Come give us a try and I promise you that you will be very satisfied with our services and our facility!
Pro Athlete/Trainer
Growing up, I was always an active child and played many sports. Not only did I find myself having a competitive nature, but new challenges and meeting goals became a major motivator at such a young age. When it came to sports, I recognized how good it felt to win. Not because I wanted to be better than others, but because I wanted to be the best that I could be and experience the feeling of accomplishing a goal. The more goals I set, the harder I had to work and the higher I set the bar for myself.
I grew up in Montana where sports and fitness was kind of “a thing” with the people I surrounded myself with. It became a lifestyle for me. I was always attracted to new fitness journeys. In my twenties, I spent time at the local Golds Gym and that’s when I became attracted to the “Gym Life”. In addition, I enjoyed outdoor activities such as: running, hiking and even some Tough Mudder challenges. As I got into my mid thirties, I had conquered most of the challenges that I had faced. I knew it was time to set the bar to the highest level of them all and began the sport of bodybuilding. One competition led to the next and I continued advancing at the sport faster than I had ever imagined. I enjoyed the physical challenge so much, that I became a trainer and coach so I could inspire and influence others. In 2022, I entered into the toughest physical challenge I had ever faced and I received the honor and title of becoming an IFBB Pro bodybuilder.
Although bodybuilding is my passion, I enjoy training clients in all facets of fitness. Whether your goal is to improve core strength, increase stamina, lose weight, or tone up your muscles, I am happy to be your mentor and guide you in the right direction. P.S. the kitchen is my happy place and I’d love to share all of my nutrition secrets with you as well.

Throughout my life, I have always known that fitness and exercise was my passion. From playing almost every sport to now competing in bodybuilding, I have a very diverse background. I have trained clients from ages 11-75 with various different goals such as losing weight, gaining muscle, athletic performance, and functional fitness. I have been training in Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek since 2021 and I’m happy to call it my passion. I’m excited to tailor a program to your specific needs whether you want to compete in a sport or be able to move freely like you could 10 years ago!
